What is Emergency Tree Surgery?

At Trees UK we are able to respond to tree related emergencies in all BR and SE postcodes. Emergency tree work can vary greatly, from storm related work, e.g. tree felling, through to recovering tree aesthetics after an act of vandalism. Unfortunately, we are unable to guarantee a response to all emergencies but we will aim to prioritize emergency tree-work over that of our usual schedule.

Emergency tree surgery is done in response to an unexpected event, where a quick turnaround is of paramount importance. Storms and other severe weather events often require emergency tree surgery: for example, when a tree falls and blocks a path, road, railway or similar.
This depends on the nature of the job and various other factors, including our existing workload and demand for other emergency jobs.
If a tree falls, the owner may be held responsible for removing it if they were negligent in its care. If the tree falls in a storm or because of another natural event, they are unlikely to be held liable.
If a tree falls in bad weather and damages a property or blocks a road, this is likely to need much quicker attention than an unhealthy tree that needs removal.
