craning section over garden

Cedar Tree Felling in Bromley, BR1

For a massive old Cedar’s removal in Bromley, significant planning was required. Ensuring safe access for our crane and lorry to transport the tree without damaging the grounds was crucial. Prioritizing staff safety, the team thoroughly discussed the process and conducted a dry run on-site before starting the actual tree felling.

Controlling ash dieback in London, CR and BR postcodes

We were contracted by the City of London Corporation to manually fell sections of trees infected with ash dieback in specific areas like Coulsdon Common, New Hill, Kenley Common, and West Wickham Common. Ash dieback necessitates either full or section felling of affected trees, especially in sensitive areas. Additionally, we widened high-footfall pathways, enhancing the area’s usability.

stump grinder at work

Poplar Removal in Chislehurst, Bromley BR7

Following the 2013 storms, we tackled a challenging project in Chislehurst, where a massive Poplar tree fell, bringing down 20 other trees in a Victorian garden. This resulted in approximately 20 tonnes of timber across three gardens and a damaged floodwater culvert. Using a CAT 259 tracked loader, we extracted the timber, albeit facing tough conditions and a few challenges. Despite some obstacles, the operation was successful and timely.

tree surgeons removing waste

Selective Tree Felling in Chislehurst, Bromley BR7

We created a sensory garden with features with accessible areas to increase the quality of life and time outdoors of a child with with accessibility needs. Navigating conservation area restrictions, we communicated with local authorities to determine permissible tree removals. After securing approval, we selectively felled trees like Robinias, Laurels, and Ash to enhance the outdoor experience.

sequoia crane job

Sequoia Tree Felling in Bickley, Bromley BR1

This project required a lot of care and attention due to the close proximity of the tree to the house and shed. A section of such a large tree can easily weigh several tons so even a slight swing can cause a lot of damage.

transporting tree for planting

Tree Planting in Beckenham, Bromley BR3

A residential planting scheme where the whole garden was landscaped. The customer wanted 20 or so Western Red Ceders, approximately 4 metres high. Due to their height we used an underground platypus anchorage system which anchors the root ball to the subbase
